Mechanic / Field Service Technician
The Mechanic / Field Service Technician will repair and diagnose major components or remove/replace major components of various small vehicles, equipment, trucks and trailers. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Gateway equipment is serviced, maintained and ready for work at all times in all areas of operation.
- Document and record all service costs and parts consumption; maintain accurate records ready for review by your supervisor.
- Maintain a high level of service and cleanliness for all assets and areas.
- Perform maintenance on Gateway’s equipment, including but not limited to horizontal boring equipment, various construction equipment, semi-trucks and trailers, engines, pumps and electrical systems.
- Ensure all equipment meets all DOT regulations, including but not limited to license plates, insurance, registration, tires, brakes, lights and chassis components.
- Coordinate and facilitate all equipment repair requests with a customer-first mentality.
- Respond to needed locations in a timely manner.
- Be flexible with scheduling in the event repairs are needed before or after working hours.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Must be able to pass a DOT-required drug test.
- Must have a valid driver’s license. A current Class A CDL with air brake certification is preferred. Applicants without a CDL must be willing to acquire one.
- Willingness to travel as necessary wherever Company projects are ongoing, including temporary yards and job sites.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, sit and perform other related physical activities for long periods of time.

80 Barrel Driver Requirements
Gateway Pipeline is seeking Class A CDL drivers with tanker endorsements to haul water and mud for a full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck to haul loads of water and fluids from various locations.
- Ensure the truck and trailer are DOT compliant.
- Accurately gauge water tanks when hauling water.
- Fill out tickets at locations and disposal sites to report how many barrels were hauled or transferred.
- Ensure paperwork is forwarded to the supervisor weekly, including driver’s vehicle reports, customer tickets, and logs.
- Ensure trucks are maintained and in good working condition, including hoses, fittings, and pumps.
- Notify the supervisor immediately of any problems.
- Assist team drivers when necessary.
- Conduct all field activities safely and accurately.
- Assist in spill cleanup.
- Connect hoses to tanks and open valves.

HDD Locator
This position is responsible for the successful completion of Horizontal Directional Drilling projects. Locators report directly to the HDD Driller they are working with, but will work with all other team members as needed to complete the job.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate electronic locating equipment to guide the horizontal directional drill during pilot bore operations.
- Complete HDD projects in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at the job site.
- Locate HDD bores proficiently with the DigiTrak F5 System.
- Keep accurate paperwork and drilling information while locating.
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HDD rig and other responsibilities as assigned by the driller.
- Mix mud correctly when required to operate mud reclaimers.

This position will coordinate with the Licensed Surveyors, Surveyor-in-Training, field crews and clients to foster efficient field operations and to ensure deadlines for projects are met.

The purpose of the drafter position is to complete drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft office programs, quality control, and drafting pre-checks.
