Gateway’s business development team toured Womble Company’s coating factory during a recent trip to Houston. The team watched the entire process; from the heating and blasting of the pipe, to final inspection of the fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coating. This professional development opportunity helped everyone gain an understanding of the amount of quality control that goes into preventing pipe corrosion.
